The YMCA offers different trainings and certifications. These certifications include Lifeguarding and CPR. Check back to see what classes are being offered.
Lifeguarding Certification
American Red Cross Lifeguarding Class:
Through videos, group discussion, and hands-on practice, you’ll learn teamwork, rescue and surveillance skills, First Aid, CPR/ AED, plus more to work as a lifeguard.
When: Online portion June 2-6, 2025. You
In-person skills June 9 from 9-5pm & June 10 from 9-5pm
Location: the in-person portion is held at the Oil City YMCA
Ages: 15-100
Cost: Member are $200/ Non-members are $225/ $50 with a working contract
Register by May 30th, 2025. Registration is limited to 10 people.
