Coffee Club
Coffee is available in the YMCA lobby from 6 am until 12 pm, Monday through Friday. Enjoy a cup of coffee and conversations with friends!
Caring Closet
What is it: The Caring Closet offers clothes and shoes to everyone at $1 per item. Our goal is simple: make sure everyone in our community has access to affordable clothing.
Where: The Clarion County YMCA Multi-Purpose Room
When: First (11 am- 1 pm), Second (3 pm- 5 pm), Third (11 am- 1 pm; 3 pm- 5 pm), and Fourth (12 pm- 5 pm) Thursday of each month.
Looking for somewhere to donate new/gently used items? Please drop off all clothing donations at the Front Desk during business hours.
Football Fridays
September through November of 2026: Come to the YMCA every Friday to work out and place your guess on who will win Sunday’s Football games. The individual with the most correct teams at the end of the season will win a Pittsburgh Steelers Package!
Fall Scavenger Hunt
During the month of September, YMCA members are invited to join in a fall leaf scavenger hunt throughout the YMCA. For each leaf you find, you will receive a ticket to be entered for a chance to win YMCA gear!

Giving Tree
November 30th through December 24th, 2026: Support our Annual Campaign through a donation from our giving tree. New this year: We have partnered up with the Giving Tree at Clarion-Limestone. Let us know if you would like to purchase gifts for a local child this year!
1,000 Mile Club
Move 1,000 miles in 2026. Biking, running, swimming, walking- everything counts! Color-code the ways you are moving on our Shoes Sheet (Please pick up at the front desk). Fill in a space for every mile completed with the corresponding color. Fill both shoe prints by the end of 2026, and turn it in at the front desk for a prize!
All donations support our Annual Campaign to provide scholarships and programs to families in need.

Friendsgiving Movement Month
FRIENDSGIVING MOVEMENT MONTH:

This November, YMCA members are invited to bring a friend and share what makes the Y special!
How It Works: – Members may bring one guest for free during the month of March – Guests can enjoy the wellness center, pool, and select exercise classes – Each guest receives a 1-Day YMCA Trial Pass.
Member Bonus: – Earn one raffle entry for every guest you bring.

Member Luncheons
MEMBER LUNCHEONS
Join your friends for lunch. Our members are invited to a luncheon hosted at the local YMCA. Members can bring their favorite dish, side dish, or dessert to share.
Oil City YMCA luncheons are held on the 2nd Friday of each month at 11:00am. Upcoming dates are
- August: Friday, August 14th at 11:00 am: Nacho Bar; bring your favorite dish, side dish, dessert, or nacho topping to share
- September: Friday, September 11th at 11:00 am; BINGO BLOWOUT; come hungry and ready to play BINGO for some fun prizes!
October: Friday, October 9th at 11:00 pm; Pumpkin Patch Party; bring your favorite dish, side dish, or dessert to share; pumpkin coloring will take place afterwards; sloppy joes will be provided
November: Friday, November 13th at 11:00 am: Thanksgiving Dinner! Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and stuffing will be provided – bring a side dish or dessert to share!
