CLARION COUNTY Riversharks Swim Team Trial week
Want to try out Clarion RiverSharks Swim team???
It starts here with the Riversharks swim team trial week.
Trial week begins on October 5th, and is led by Clarion County YMCA Riversharks Coaches. Swimmers only need to attend one day during trial week. Trial week will explain swim team structured practices as well as putting swimmers through a check list to find what their best placement is for practices. Swimmers and their families can then decide if swim team is right for them!
Cost: $15
Ages: 6-18. For swimmers new to the team only!

Clarion Riversharks Swim Team
Riversharks Competitive Swim Team
The Riversharks are a competitive swim team that practices October through mid-February. The Clarion County YMCA participates in the CENKEY Swim League. Meets are held Saturdays, November-February at pools in the league. Swimmers are grouped by level of swimming ability and will refine strokes and train for endurance and competition.
WHEN: October 2025 – March 2026; Practices offered 6-8 pm Monday through Thursday
LOCATION: Penn West – Clarion Tippin Natatorium
AGES: Youth ages 6 – 18 years with swimming ability
COST: $325/season per swimmer. $50 deposit to be made upon registration. Multiple child discounts available. Fundraising to cover registration fees also available during the season.
REGISTER BY: New swimmers register by October 5th, Returning swimmers register by the October 14th.
PARENT INFORMATION MEETING: Wednesday, September 16th at 7pm at the Clarion County YMCA. Meeting will share swim team expectations, needs, practice and meet schedules, and can answer any questions you might have about our team!
TRIAL WEEK: Monday Oct. 5th-Oct 8th. Price is $15, and can be applied to Swim Team Registration Fee. DATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE!!

Oil City Masters Team
The Oil City YMCA Masters Team competes in the AMYMSA League. The team is for anyone between the ages of 18 and 100 that wishes to compete locally and potentially nationally while making new friends and forever memories. Practices on your own or with a teammate. Meets are monthly and more information can be found at www.amymsa.org.

Oil City Swim Team
The Oil City River Otters are a YMCA competitive swim team for ages 5-18.
WHEN: Trial Week for New Swimmers: September 21-25, 2026
Team starts September 28, 2026
Practices are held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 4:30-6 pm and on Tuesday, Thursday from 4:30 –5:30 pm.
COST: $310 for the season. This can be paid upfront, paid $210 and $100 fundraiser at beginning of season.
$125 high school swimmer
Multiple swimmer discount is $10 for the second child, $20 for the third child and $30 for the fourth child.
