Dek Hockey
Scenic Rivers YMCA Dek Hockey is available for hockey fans of all ages!
Th Dek features developmental programs and league for youth ages 5 and up, as well as competitive leagues for adult players. The Dek operates from May-October every year, with multiple playing sessions available each season.
Need Gear? The Dek also offers a “pro shop” with lightly used and new equipment for player to rent or buy from.
The YMCA Dek Hockey Facility is an off site facility located in Hasson Park, Oil City, PA
Adult Roller Hockey League
The Adult Roller Hockey League provides a fast-paced, welcoming environment where adults can stay active, build community, and enjoy friendly competition. By offering consistent weeknight games, the league supports physical fitness, stress relief, and social connection for participants of all skill levels.
The Spring session focuses on skill development, teamwork, and steady play through a regular-season format, creating a low-pressure entry point for new and returning players. The Summer 1, Summer 2, and Fall sessions build on that foundation by introducing playoff competition, encouraging goal-setting, sportsmanship, and team pride.
Through structured play, reliable scheduling, and an inclusive atmosphere, the league strengthens connections among participants while reinforcing the YMCA’s commitment to healthy living, belonging, and lifelong recreation.
Games are played three days a week; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:30pm, 7:40pm, and 8:50pm. Make up games will be held on Tuesdays. Session dates and pricing are listed below. Gear is available to rent at $60 for the year.
Open Skates: Begins April 29-May 8- open skates mon/wed/fri 6-8pm.
Summer 1 Session: Begins May 11- June 18. This season includes a regular season games and playoff games.

Youth Roller Hockey
“YMCA deck hockey blends fast-paced fun with foundational athletic skills. Kids learn the value of strategy, teamwork, and resilience in a safe, structured environment—no ice required!”Top of Form
WHEN: The Scenic Rivers YMCA Dek Hockey facility will host youth hockey monthly during the months of May, June, July, August, and September. Practices and games will be held on Saturdays this year. Program is open to youth ages 4-17.
Sessions run monthly: beginning on the first Saturday of each month

AGES: Youth Roller hockey is available for kids ages 4 and up. Youth will be split into playing groups based on the following criteria: experience, skill, and age. At the beginning of the session groups will be divided by age. Dek staff will then make adjustments to groups based on the skill and experience of the participants.
Ages 4-6: 9:00 AM- 10:00 AM (Roller and footer option)
Ages 7-12: 10:15 AM-11:15 AM
Ages 13-16: 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
LOCATION: Hasson Park, Oil City, PA
OTHER DETAILS: All players will receive a Youth Dek Hockey t-shirt for their team during gameplay. Call (814) 677-3000 for more information!
COMMUNICATION: Communication for ALL Dek Hockey will be done through Remind.
