The swimmer is between the beginner class and the intermediate class. The swimmer can swim unassisted on their front and back in the shallow end.

When: Classes run monthly and start on the 1st Tuesday or Thursday of the month at 6:10-6:40pm

Clarion County Me & My Shadow Swim Lessons

Learn a valuable life skill with our trained and experienced swim instructors in a safe, nurturing and welcoming learning environment. Our “Me and My Shadow”  class is for parents and young children who are ready to be introduced to the water for the first time.

WHEN: Tuesdays, held Monthly, 5:30pm-6:00pm

LOCATION: Clarion County YMCA Pool

AGES: 4 months – 5 years old

MONTHLY COST: $20 Member, $60 Non-Member

Introduce your little one to the water in a fun and supportive environment! This class helps infants become comfortable in the pool while working on floating, bubble blowing, and basic water skills with a parent or guardian.

• When: Every Monday, starting on the 1st Monday of each month from 1-1:30 Pm. Register for each month

Two on one lessons to develop skills that are catered to the swimmer. The swimmer will get 4- 30 minute lessons. The swimmers that are sharing the lesson should be similar in skill level to make the most of the lessons!

Beginner Swim Class

This class is perfect for swimmers who are just starting out and may still need assistance, either from the instructor or a swim float. Swimmers will work on blowing bubbles, putting their eyes in the water, swimming on their fronts, floating, and beginning backstroke along with other water acclimation skills.

• When: Classes run monthly, starting on the 1st Tuesday or Thursday of each month from 5:30 – 6:00 PM

Youth Private Swim Lessons

Available for children ages 3-18, these personalized, 30-minute sessions can help swim students learn the basics, master skills, or refine techniques. Lessons are held in our heated indoor pools, offering a comfortable swimming environment year-round. Our experienced instructors provide personalized instruction and guidance. All levels and abilities are welcome, and sessions can be scheduled at a time that works for you! Please note, while your lesson time is in session, there may be other pool activities offered at the same time.
