Clarion County Me & My Shadow Swim Lessons

Learn a valuable life skill with our trained and experienced swim instructors in a safe, nurturing and welcoming learning environment. Classes are available for everyone at different stages. Our “Me and My Shadow” (A+B) class is for parents and young children who are ready to be introduced to the water for the first time.

Group Swim Lessons – Beginner

Learn a valuable life skill with our trained and experienced swim instructors in a safe, nurturing and welcoming learning environment.

Beginner: swimmers that still need assistance either by the instructor or from a swim float. The swimmers will work on blowing bubbles, putting their eyes in the water, swimming on their fronts, floating and starting to swim on their back and other water acclimation skills.

Clarion County Group Swim Lessons – Intermediate

Learn a valuable life skill with our trained and experienced swim instructors in a safe, nurturing and welcoming learning environment.

Intermediate: This level will swim on their front and back unassisted in the deep end of the pool. They are comfortable putting their eyes in the water. Swimmers will learn to rotary breath, and become more comfortable swimming farther distances.

Private Swim Lessons with Andrew Hale (Intermediate and Competitive lessons)

Andrew Hale is an Assistant Swim Coach at PennWest Clarion University. He has more than 10 years of experience as a swim lesson instructor and over 12 years as a swim lesson instructor.

Beginner Swim Class

This class is perfect for swimmers who are just starting out and may still need assistance, either from the instructor or a swim float. Swimmers will work on blowing bubbles, putting their eyes in the water, swimming on their fronts, floating, and beginning backstroke along with other water acclimation skills.

Youth Private Swim Lessons

Available for children ages 3-18, these personalized, 30-minute sessions can help swim students learn the basics, master skills, or refine techniques. Lessons are held in our heated indoor pools, offering a comfortable swimming environment year-round. Our experienced instructors provide personalized instruction and guidance. All levels and abilities are welcome, and sessions can be scheduled at a time that works for you! Please note, while your lesson time is in session, there may be other pool activities offered at the same time.
