All Kids Bike: Kindergarten Learn to Ride Program

Learning to ride a bike is an important milestone for kids, but unfortunately, only 1 in 5 kids will get the chance to ride this year. Let’s change that!

All Kids Bike is an 8-lesson program designed to give your child the skills, knowledge, and confidence to learn how to ride a bike. The lessons will be held over six weeks, offering a fun and supportive environment for your little one to reach this exciting achievement.

WHEN:

Session 1:Begins Tuesday March 17^th and will last for 6-7 straight weeks. 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Session 2: Begins Tuesday May 19^th and will last 6-7 weeks. 5:30-6:30 pm

YMCA FALL FLAG FOOTBALL:

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!?!?

This 8 session program focuses on player and skill development. Led by YMCA staff and volunteer.

WHEN: Begins Saturday, September 12th with three age divisions available!

1st & 2nd Grade: 9am- this group will take place in 4 weeks of skill building practices followed by 4 weeks of scrimmages and games. This group will focus on the fundamentals of the game.

3rd – 5th Grade: 10:15am- this group will take place in 4 weeks of skill building practices followed by 4 weeks of scrimmages and games. This group will focus on fundamentals of the game as well as taking a next step into more advanced skills and drills

6th – 8th Grade: 11:30am- this group will go through 3 weeks of skill evaluation before being split up into teams for scrimmages and games. This group will focus on gameplay and learning what it means to be competitive!

YMCA Summer Soccer

YMCA Summer Soccer is a fundamental, participation-based program offered for girls and boys in Pre-K through 5th grade during the 2025-2026 school year. The program will feature 6 weeks of skill-building practices that will include drills, objective-based games, scrimmages, and other ways to improve your child’s skill and knowledge of the game.

WHEN:

Pre K and K Division – Mondays at 5:30-6:30 pm starting June 22nd

1^st and 2^nd grade- Thursdays at 5:30-6:30 pm starting June 25^th

3^rd-5^th grade- Thursdays at 6:45-7:45 pm starting June 25th

LOCATION:  YMCA Sports Field, 499 Mayfield Road, Clarion, PA 16214

AGES: 4 – 11

COST:  $35 Member / $60 Non-Member

REGISTER BY:  June 21^st

YMCA Summer Soccer is a developmental soccer program for Pre-K thru 6th grade. During the program youth will work on individual offensive and defensive skills, as well as learning the team aspects of the game.

WHEN?: Summer Soccer will begin on Saturday, July 11th and will last for six straight Saturdays (weather pending)

WHO?: There will be THREE AGE GROUPS available for spring soccer :

– Pre-K thru K:10 am-11 am

– 1st thru 3rd grade:11:10 am-12:25 pm – 4th thru 6th grade:12:35pm-1:50 pm

WHERE?: The YMCA soccer program will take place at the YMCA soccer fields located right next to the Hasson Pool.

MORE DETAILS:  The first three weeks of the program will consist of skill and knowledge building practices, with the final three weeks of the program consisting of games. Teams will be made by the Youth Director.

COST:   $40/members and  $60/non-members

The goal of this clinic is to empower youth to reach their full potential through basketball by fostering skill development, healthy competition, and the core values of respect, responsibility, and teamwork.

When: July 20^th– July 23^rd

10:00 am- 2:30 pm

Ages: Entering 4^th grade thru entering 8^th grade

Where: Oil City YMCA gymnasium

Cost: $50/members and $75/non-members

Additional details: This clinic is only open for the first 40 participants who sign up.

Participants will need to either pack a lunch for the day or a free lunch will be provided for them by the YMCA.
