Flag Football
YMCA FALL FLAG FOOTBALL:
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!?!?
YMCA Flag Football is a developmental program designed to help youth learn the basics of the game of flag football while also competing against their peers! The program is led by volunteer coaches and will consist of 6 weeks of Saturday games with practices during the week. Weekday practices will be set by volunteer coaches. This years program will also include weeknight “Under the Lights” games for both playing Divisions.
WHEN: Games will begin on Saturday September 13th
LOCATION: YMCA sports Fields
AGES: Youth in Grades 1st-6th (for the 2025-2026 school year) with two playing divisions available:
- 4th-6th grade (9 a.m. game start time)
- 1st-3rd grade (10:30 a.m. game start times)
- game times could change depending on how many players register for the program
COST: $35/members $60/non-members
REGISTER BY: Saturday, August 30th to allow for two weeks of practices before games begin.

Flag Football (K-3)
YMCA Flag Football
Franklin and Oil City YMCA are teaming up to provide Flag Football for boys and girls, Grades K-3.
There will be 2 Divisions ,
(K-1st) (2nd-3rd)
Program will be held at Miller Sibley Park in Franklin/RG
Will be mostly Mondays and Wednesdays with a couple Saturday practices, but a few nights will vary due to varying factors.
Week night times will be 5pm-8pm (You will be notified of a time a few days prior to program starting)
Practice Dates – Wed 9/3, Sat 9/6 (AM) , Mon 9/8, Sat 9/13
Games – Mon-9/15, W-9/17, M 9/22, W-9/24
* Rest of schedule TBD based on amount of signups (Week of 9/29-10/3)

YMCA Girls Flag Football
NEW THIS YEAR- YMCA Girls Flag Football league
WHERE THE GIRLS PLAY
Flag football is one of the fastest growing sports in America and will now be featured in the next Summer Olympic Games in 2028. The biggest movement within flag football is the growth of Girls leagues and programs.
This year the YMCA will be hosting our own Girls Flag Football League. The league will be available for girls in grades 3rd-6th. This six-week program will introduce players to the fundamentals and skills of flag football through skills and drills practices. Players will also get the chance to compete against one another during games.
WHEN: Begins Monday, September 8th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and will last for six straight Mondays.
LOCATION: YMCA Sports fields
AGES: Girls in grades 3rd-6th
COST: $35/members and $60/non-members
REGISTER BY: Friday, September 5th
