Youth Sports
Basketball (4th-6th)
Program will be held in Collab with the Franklin YMCA and be held at the Franklin YMCA
Program held on Mondays and Wednesday evenings. Program is for both boys and girls.
Practice times: 5pm-7pm on Mondays, 5pm to 6:30pm on Wednesdays
Parents will NOT be allowed in the gymnasium during practice sessions unless they are signed up to be a coach.
Program will conclude with 4 games which parents are permitted to attend.
Starts Wednesday, November 5th. Program ends Wednesday Dec 10th.
Practice will take place in November with the games the 1st 2 weeks of December.
There will be no basketball on Wednesday, November 26th (Thanksgiving Break)

Basketball (K-3) 2025
Youth Basketball Program in Collab with Franklin YMCA will focus on Skills and drills mainly.
No full court games will be played in this division. The work on the basics, shooting, dribbling, passes, layups. We will play mini games and do skill-based competitions.
Times likely: (*Program director reserves the right to change the times based off the # of players)
Saturday mornings at Franklin YMCA Gym.
K&1st (10am) *
2nd and 3rd (11am)
Groups could be expanded to later times if large number of kids sign up.
Parents will not be permitted inside the gym during the 1st few sessions unless they are signed up to coach.

YMCA ALL KIDS PLAY – YOUTH BASKETBALL
YMCA Youth Basketball is a 6 week developmental program designed for your child to learn or improve upon their basketball skills and knowledge. The six week program will consist of 5 weeks of practices focused on skills and drills practices, objective based games, and scrimmages.
The sixth and final week will consist of a competitive tournament where all players from both session come together and compete to be crowned YMCA Youth Basketball Champion!
3rd and 4th/ 5th and 6th grade developmental basketball program
The program begins the week of November 10th with two session times available for players. Each session will be held at the Clarion County YMCA in the gym.
- 3rd and 4th graders can choose either a Wednesday 5:30 pm (starts November 12th) session or a Saturday 10:15 am (starts November 15th) session
- 5th and 6th graders can choose either a Wednesday 6:45 pm (starts November 12th) session or a Saturday 9:00 am session (starts November 15th)
Each session has a limit of 30 players!
