5^th and 6^th GRADE COMPETITIVE BASKETBALL LEAGUE:

The Clarion County YMCA is hosting a competitive league for youth in 5^th and 6^th grade. This league will feature a round robin style “regular season” followed by a single elimination playoff bracket. All players must be in 5^th or 6^th grade.

This league requires you bring your own team of 7 to 10 players. Teams may be formed from schools, churches, or other organizations as long as all players on the team are in 5^th and 6^th grade. There will be divisions available for both boys and girls. All games officiated by PIAA trained referees.

WHEN: Games Begin Friday March 27^th. Games will be played on Friday and Saturday evenings at the YMCA. Official game times to be set once all teams are registered.  

AGES: Boys and Girls in 5^th and 6^th grade only! Playing divisions available for both boys and girls!

LOCATION: Clarion County YMCA Gymnasium

COST: $400/per team

All Kids Bike: Kindergarten Learn to Ride Program

Learning to ride a bike is an important milestone for kids, but unfortunately, only 1 in 5 kids will get the chance to ride this year. Let’s change that!

All Kids Bike is an 8-lesson program designed to give your child the skills, knowledge, and confidence to learn how to ride a bike. The lessons will be held over six weeks, offering a fun and supportive environment for your little one to reach this exciting achievement.

WHEN:

Session 1:Begins Tuesday March 17^th and will last for 6-7 straight weeks. 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Session 2: Begins Tuesday May 19^th and will last 6-7 weeks. 5:30-6:30 pm

Keep your little ones active and moving this winter with our Mini Movers program! Kiddos will meet on Monday afternoons for an hour of activities and fun. Those activities can include anything from games like “Turtle Tag” and capture the flag, to sports like flag football and soccer!

The program will consist of three separate sections:

Section 1: NinjaNastics and Obstacles – January 5, 12, 19

Section 2: Soccer Showdown – February 2, 9, 16

Section 3: Tag, You’re It! – March 2, 9, 16

YMCA Summer Soccer

YMCA Summer Soccer is a fundamental, participation-based program offered for girls and boys in Pre-K through 5th grade during the 2025-2026 school year. The program will feature 6 weeks of skill building practices that will include drills, objective based games, scrimmages and other ways to improve your child’s skill and knowledge of the game.

WHEN:

Pre K and K Division – Monday’s at 5:30-6:30 pm starting June 22nd

1^st and 2^nd grade- Thursdays at 5:30-6:30 pm starting June 25^th

3^rd-5^th grade- Thursdays at 6:45-7:45 pm starting June 25th

Designed for players of all skill levels, the program focuses on skill development, physical activity, and character-building aligned with YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Participants will learn basic basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense through age-appropriate drills and games. Emphasis is placed on participation, fair play, and having fun, helping youth develop a lifelong love for physical activity while making new friends.

WHEN: 4/25/26 – 5/30/26 every Saturday for 6 weeks
