All Kids Bike: Kindergarten Learn to Ride Program

Learning to ride a bike is an important milestone for kids, but unfortunately, only 1 in 5 kids will get the chance to ride this year. Let’s change that!

All Kids Bike is an 8-lesson program designed to give your child the skills, knowledge, and confidence to learn how to ride a bike. The lessons will be held over six weeks, offering a fun and supportive environment for your little one to reach this exciting achievement.

WHEN:

Begins Wednesday June 4th from  6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

LOCATION:

YMCA Child Care Parking lot. Parking for the program will be available in the YMCA upper lots.

AGES:

Youth ages 4 to 6

YMCA FALL FLAG FOOTBALL:

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!?!?

YMCA Flag Football is a developmental program designed to help youth learn the basics of the game of flag football while also competing against their peers! The program is led by volunteer coaches and will consist of 6 weeks of Saturday games with practices during the week. Weekday practices will be set by volunteer coaches. This years program will also include weeknight “Under the Lights” games for both playing Divisions.

WHEN: Games will begin on Saturday September 13^th

LOCATION: YMCA sports Fields

AGES: Youth in Grades 1^st-6^{th  (}for the 2025-2026 school year) with two playing divisions available:

• 4^th-6^th grade (9 a.m. game start time)
• 1^st-3^rd grade (10:30 a.m. game start times)
• game times could change depending on how many players register for the program

COST: $35/members $60/non-members

REGISTER BY: Saturday, August 30^th to allow for two weeks of practices before games begin.

YMCA Summer Soccer

Join us for YMCA Summer Soccer, a fun and participation-based program for boys and girls in Pre-K through 5th grade (for the 2025-2026 school year)! Our program focuses on learning the fundamentals of soccer while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. Volunteer coaches lead practices, and games are held every Saturday at the YMCA Field on Mayfield Rd.

NEW THIS YEAR!

We’ve revamped our program for Pre-K and Kindergarten kiddos (ages 4 to 6) with a YMCA staff-led clinic-style program! This new structure is designed to improve their skills and knowledge of the game through drills, objective-based games, and scrimmages!

WHEN:

• Games start on Saturday, July 12th

• Pre-K & K Division (Ages 4-6): Mondays from 5:30-6:30 pm starting June 23rd

• Games: Saturdays, starting July 12th, for 6 straight weeks (weather permitting)

• 1st & 2nd Grade Division: 9:00 am

• 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Division: 10:30 am

(Game times may change based on registration numbers)

YMCA Spring Soccer is a developmental soccer program for youth in grades PreK-6.   During the program youth will work on individual offensive and defensive skills, as well as learning the team aspects of the game.

WHEN?: Spring Soccer will take place on May 31, June 7,14, 21, 28 and July 12.

WHO?: There will be THREE AGE GROUPS available for spring soccer :

Grades Pre K and K:  9:00 AM-10:00 AM

Grades 1-3:  10:10 AM-11:25 AM

Grades 4-6:  11:35 AM:- 12:50 AM

WHERE?: The YMCA soccer program will take place at the YMCA soccer fields located right next to the Hasson Pool.

MORE DETAILS:  The first three weeks of the program will consist of skill and knowledge building practices, with the final three weeks of the program consisting of games. Teams will be made by the Youth Director.  Players may be moved to different age groups.

COST:   $40/members and  $60/non-members

• 5-6 year olds: 6:45 pm start

NEW THIS YEAR- YMCA Girls Flag Football league

WHERE THE GIRLS PLAY  

Flag football is one of the fastest growing sports in America and will now be featured in the next Summer Olympic Games in 2028. The biggest movement within flag football is the growth of Girls leagues and programs.

This year the YMCA will be hosting our own Girls Flag Football League. The league will be available for girls in grades 3^rd-6^th. This six-week program will introduce players to the fundamentals and skills of flag football through skills and drills practices. Players will also get the chance to compete against one another during games.

WHEN: Begins Monday, September 8^th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and will last for six straight Mondays.

LOCATION: YMCA Sports fields

AGES: Girls in grades 3^rd-6^th

COST: $35/members and $60/non-members
