3^rd and 4^th/ 5^th and 6^th grade developmental basketball program

The program begins the week of November 11^th with two session times available for players. Each session will be held at the Clarion County YMCA in the gym.

• 3^rd and 4^th graders can choose either a Thursday 5:30 pm session or a Saturday 10:15 am session
• 5^th and 6^th graders can choose either a Thursday 6:45 pm session or a Saturday 9:00 am session.

Each session has a limit of 30 players!

Cost: $35/members and $60/non-members

The Jr NBA youth basketball program is a 6-week developmental basketball program available for youth in grades 3rd through 6th.

They will learn individual skills including dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense. They will also cover team concepts like offense, screen setting, team defense, and running plays.

The second part will be the final three weeks of the program which will consist of competitive games! Teams will be split by the program leaders (YMCA staff and any Volunteer Coaches) and compete against other teams. During the final week of the program, there will be a competitive tournament where we will determine a Clarion County YMCA Jr NBA Champion!

Still have that itch to compete but cant because of the cold winter months? Join the YMCA’s Competitive Futsal League!

The league is designed for 7^th-12^th graders to bring their own team and compete against other youth in the area. Teams can be school affiliated, from another soccer league, or just made at random! Teams may have Coaches assigned to them or can be run by induvials.

Teams will consist of rosters of 7-10 players with 5 players playing at a time. Teams will compete in a round robin regular season which will be followed by a single elimination playoff tournament!

WHEN?: Saturdays starting January 18^th. Games will begin at Noon (Exact league schedule will come out after registrations are complete)

LOCATION?: Clarion County YMCA Gymnasium

AGES?: Youth in grades 7-12

COST?: $200/team

REGISTARTION?: Register your team by January 15^th at 5 p.m.

YMCA MINI MOVERS

Keep your little ones active and moving this winter with our Mini Movers program! Kiddos will meet on Monday afternoons for an hour of activities and fun. Those activities can include anything from games like “Turtle Tag” and capture the flag, to sports like flag football and soccer!

The program will consist of three separate sections:

Section 1: Soccer Showdown – November 4,11,18

Section 2: Tag, your it! – December 2,9,16

Section 3: NinjaNastics and Obstacles – January 6,13,20

CLARION COUNTY YMCA YOUTH DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

Teams of 7-10 players compete in a round robin style tournament to determine who can Dodge, dip, duck and dive the best!

There will be three playing divisions available:

• 3^rd-5^th grade

CLARION COUNTY YMCA FUTSAL/INDOOR SOCCER PROGRAM

Keep your soccer skills fresh this winter by joining the YMCA’s Futsal program!

This program will be a developmental program focused on improving and refreshing your kiddos soccer skills. The program will consist of skills and drills, objective based games, and live gameplay!

WHEN?: Six straight Mondays starting February 3^rd. 6:30-7:30 p.m.

AGES?: Youth in grades 3-6 (only 30 spots available!)
