5^th and 6^th GRADE COMPETITIVE BASKETBALL LEAGUE:

The Clarion County YMCA is hosting a competitive league for youth in 5^th and 6^th grade. This league will feature a round robin style “regular season” followed by a single elimination playoff bracket. All players must be in 5^th or 6^th grade.

This league requires you bring your own team of 7 to 10 players. Teams may be formed from schools, churches, or other organizations as long as all players on the team are in 5^th and 6^th grade. There will be divisions available for both boys and girls. All games officiated by PIAA trained referees.

WHEN: Games Begin Friday March 27^th. Games will be played on Friday and Saturday evenings at the YMCA. Official game times to be set once all teams are registered.  

AGES: Boys and Girls in 5^th and 6^th grade only! Playing divisions available for both boys and girls!

COST: $400/per team

All Kids Bike: Kindergarten Learn to Ride Program

Learning to ride a bike is an important milestone for kids, but unfortunately, only 1 in 5 kids will get the chance to ride this year. Let’s change that!

All Kids Bike is an 8-lesson program designed to give your child the skills, knowledge, and confidence to learn how to ride a bike. The lessons will be held over six weeks, offering a fun and supportive environment for your little one to reach this exciting achievement.

Session 1:Begins Tuesday March 17^th and will last for 6-7 straight weeks. 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Session 2: Begins Tuesday May 19^th and will last 6-7 weeks. 5:30-6:30 pm

This youth basketball program is a 6-week developmental basketball program available for youth in Pre-K through 2^nd grade. Our 6 weeks will focus learning and improving the fundamentals of the game of basketball. Those skills include: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, Skills will be taught through drills, fun objective-based games, and some scrimmaging.

WHEN: The program begins the week of January 12th with two session times available for players. Each session will be held at the Clarion County YMCA in the gym.

• Pre-k and Kindergarten families can choose either a Wednesday 5:30 pm session or a Saturday 10:15 am session
• 1^st and 2nd grade families can choose either a Wednesday 6:45 pm session or a Saturday 9:00 am session.

Keep your little ones active and moving this winter with our Mini Movers program! Kiddos will meet on Monday afternoons for an hour of activities and fun. Those activities can include anything from games like “Turtle Tag” and capture the flag, to sports like flag football and soccer!

The program will consist of three separate sections:
