Gymnastics
The Oil City YMCA offers a variety of gymnastics and gymnastic-like programming for youth of all ages. Gymnastics can help your child improve their strength, flexibility, agility, and overall athleticism.
Flip and Dip
FLIP & DIP
Gymnastics plus swimming equals fun! Parents love this program as much as the kids do. This program is for children ages 3—5. The children will start with a 1/2 hour gymnastics lesson in the gymnasium then head for the pool for a beginner swim lesson. Parents must be present. A quick hint: Girls wear swimsuits for gymnastics and boys wear their trunks and a t-shirt for a fast change.
Held Monthly during the school year: Thursdays from 5:00—6:00 pm.
$30/Members; $40/Non-members.
Register by the last Thursday of the previous month! Registration limited to 8 students.

Fundamental Gymnastics
Build Skills. Boost Confidence. Inspire Movement.
The Fundamental Gymnastics program at the Oil City YMCA introduces youth to the exciting world of gymnastics in a supportive and structured environment. Athletes will develop core skills in bar, vault, beam, and floor routines, while improving their flexibility, strength, and agility—foundational skills that support success in all sports.
When: Thursdays September – May
Session 1: September 15-October 24
Session 2: November 10-December 19
Session 3: January 5-February 13
Session 4: March 2- April 10
Session 5: April 27-June 4
Time: 5:30-7pm
Location: Oil City YMCA Gymnasium
Ages: 5-18 years old
Cost: $40 for members and $60 for non-members
Register by the first day of each session

Tri Stars Competitive Team
Oil City YMCA Tri-Stars competitive gymnastics team competes at the Xcel level. Tri-Stars team gymnastics is led by head Coach Jess Elder. Team gymnastics is available through invitation only by YMCA gymnastics leadership group.
