Geri-Fit
Designed exclusively for older adults, Geri-Fit helps rebuild strength that has been lost through the aging process for a higher level of function. Becoming stronger isn’t the only positive outcome of attending this class, improvement in strength, balance, and functional capacity are also benefits of this class. This class can also potentially improve activities of daily living and a boost in mood. Chairs, bands, and hand weights will be used in class.

When you register for a 1 month session of Silver Sneakers Group Exercise Classes, you are entitled to pick and choose any combination of classes that you would like to attend. See Member Service Desk for monthly schedule and times.

HEALTHY STEPS IN MOTION T/TH 10:30-11:15 AM
RESTORATIVE STRETCH –Wednesday, 9:30 – 10:15 am
The class begins with dynamic stretches, which warm the body and increase flexibility through movement. Restorative stretch helps maintain mobility, prevent injury and increase physical performance.
Silversneakers Classes
Classes listed are free for SilverSneakers and YMCA Members. Classes are $25/month for non-members or $3 to drop-in for non-members.
SilverSneakers Classic (Beginner) Monday and Wednesday 10:30-11:15 am
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
Senior on the Ball (Intermediate) Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:30-10:15 am
For the senior who needs more of a challenge. This class includes a variety of muscular strength and range of movement activities all done while seated on a stability ball. If you prefer, you may sit in a chair rather than on the ball.
Senior Strength & Stability (Intermediate) Tuesday, Thursday 10:00 –11:00 am
This class is designed to increase strength, balance, coordination, agility, endurance, and flexibility. Each class consists of a full body workout with use of bands, hand weights, medicine balls, and your own body weight for resistance exercises. A stability ball and chair are also available if needed. Each class also includes stretches for range of motion and movement exercises for balance and agility.
Senior Step Up (Advanced) Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00-9 :00 am
For the senior who needs a “step above” the Senior on the Ball class. Class includes cardio, strength and flexibility training all in a low-impact class.
SilverSneakers Yoga Fridays 10:30-11:15 am
Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

CYCLING –Tuesday, 5:00 – 5:45 pm; Friday 6:15 – 7:00 am
Burn calories and improve cardiovascular endurance in this non-impact class. Class provides motivating music and is modified for all levels!
HIIT — Saturday, 9:30 – 10:00 am
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) alternates short, high intensity intervals of cardio exercises with longer, lower, slower intervals (including muscle toning moves) to recover.
RESTORATIVE STRETCH –Wednesday, 9:30 – 10:15 am

BODY BAR — Wednesday 5:00 – 6:00 pm
Our body bar class emphasizes full-body conditioning through every range of motion. This class focuses on muscular strength, stamina, and agility.
TOTAL BODY TRANSFORMATION –Monday and Friday 9:45-10:45 am
This is a class created by a personal trainer to give you a full-body workout incorporating interval training and strength exercises. This class is full of creative new challenges. With a personal trainer as your coach, there are plenty of modifications, to either simplify or amp up the movements to maximize results.
YOGA — Saturday, 10:15 – 11:00 am
An hour of Yoga poses to enhance strength, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility as well as relieve stress and tension. All fitness levels are welcome!
Unlimited Monthly Classes - Adult
Paying the monthly fee allows members and non-members to take any number of classes on the YMCA group exercise calendar for an unlimited amount of times during the month.
Drop-in rates apply at $5 per class, per visit for members if the participant is not enrolled in the monthly unlimited program.
